Overview

Trimscope (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates Remodelr and participates in affiliate marketing programs. This means we may earn a commission when you click on certain links on Remodelr and make a qualifying purchase — at no additional cost to you.

This disclosure is provided in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255) and applicable consumer protection laws.

Affiliate Programs We Participate In

Remodelr currently monetizes primarily through Amazon Associates. Product recommendations and Amazon links opened from Remodelr may include our tracking ID. We may add other home-improvement affiliate programs over time, including:

• Wayfair Partner Program
• Other renovation retailers and affiliate networks

How Affiliate Links Work

When you click an affiliate link on Remodelr — such as a product recommendation, or an Amazon product link saved on a selection — you are sent to the retailer through Remodelr's redirect so the purchase can be attributed when the retailer allows it. If you complete a qualifying purchase within the retailer's attribution window, we may receive a commission.

Affiliate links do not increase the price you pay. You pay the same price you would by navigating directly to the retailer. In some cases, our affiliate relationships may provide you access to exclusive discounts.

Remodelr cannot earn a commission if you buy after searching the retailer yourself, clear cookies, use a different device/browser, or follow a link that was never opened from Remodelr.

Our Editorial Independence

Our product recommendations are based on their quality, relevance to renovation projects, and value for homeowners and contractors. We do not recommend products solely because of an affiliate relationship. Affiliate commissions do not influence our editorial decisions or how products are ranked within the platform.

We strive to recommend products we believe are genuinely useful for renovation planning, regardless of whether an affiliate relationship exists.

Identifying Affiliate Links

Where technically feasible, affiliate links on Remodelr may be marked with a disclosure notice or visual indicator. We are committed to transparency and will continue improving how affiliate links are identified across the platform as it grows.

No Additional Cost to You

Clicking an affiliate link and completing a purchase does not cost you anything extra. The commission we earn comes from the retailer's marketing budget. We do not mark up prices or take a cut from your purchase price.
