1. Overview
Remodelr is a renovation planning platform for homeowners and contractors. It helps users organize projects, rooms, selections, product links, budgets, tasks, change orders, photos, contacts, approvals, collaboration, leads, estimates, and related project activity.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to use Remodelr. By using Remodelr on behalf of a company, organization, contractor, designer, or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
4. Projects and content
Users may create projects, rooms, selections, notes, product links, budgets, tasks, change orders, files, contacts, invite links, approvals, and related project content. You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of content submitted to Remodelr.
5. Collaboration and invites
Remodelr allows homeowners to invite contractors and collaborators to shared projects. You are responsible for inviting the correct people and sharing only information you are authorized to share. Invited users may be able to view project content and take actions such as reviewing selections, updating tasks, or uploading files, depending on their role and access level.
6. Contractor marketplace features
Remodelr may help homeowners discover contractors and help contractors manage leads, estimates, and client projects. Remodelr does not guarantee the quality, licensing, insurance, availability, pricing, or performance of any contractor or homeowner. Users are responsible for verifying credentials, contracts, and project terms directly with one another.
7. Not professional construction, legal, or financial advice
Remodelr is an organizational software tool. Remodelr does not provide construction, design, engineering, architectural, legal, accounting, tax, insurance, or financial advice. AI-generated suggestions are informational only and may be inaccurate. Users are responsible for verifying product details, measurements, budgets, schedules, code requirements, permits, contractor obligations, and project decisions with qualified professionals.
8. Payments and billing
Paid plans and subscriptions are processed by Stripe. By purchasing a paid plan, you agree to the pricing, billing frequency, and payment terms shown at checkout. Subscription plans may renew automatically unless canceled through the billing portal or other supported billing method.
Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise. We may change pricing or plan features in the future with reasonable notice where required.
9. Free plans and limits
We may offer free plans or limited trials. Free features, limits, and availability may change at any time. To continue using features beyond free limits, you may need to upgrade to a paid plan.
10. Affiliate links and recommendations
Remodelr may display product recommendations and affiliate links. We may earn commissions on qualifying purchases at no additional cost to you. See our Affiliate Disclosure for more information.
11. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse Remodelr. You may not use Remodelr to violate laws, infringe rights, upload malicious code, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or reverse engineer the platform, harass others, or store unlawful, deceptive, harmful, or abusive content.
12. User content
You retain ownership of content you submit to Remodelr. You grant Trimscope a limited license to host, store, process, display, transmit, and use your content as necessary to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the service.
13. Service availability
We aim to keep Remodelr reliable, but we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service as needed for maintenance, security, operational, or business reasons.
14. Termination
You may stop using Remodelr at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk for Trimscope or other users, failed to pay required fees, or used the service in a way that could harm the platform.
15. Disclaimers
Remodelr is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and reliability.
16. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trimscope will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, lost business, construction delays, project cost overruns, or decisions made based on information stored in Remodelr.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify users by updating the date on this page or by other reasonable means. Continued use of Remodelr after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
